For those of you who have not seen the background image today on Bing, please check it out. Today it is Lady Liberty in all her splendor. You’ll notice that all three of the major search engines have something on their homepage to commemorate the holiday.
Growing up in the pacific northwest, there was a song written by a group of musicians from the Seattle area that I always associated with this special holiday. I tried out Bing’s video search feature and sure enough I was able to dig a performance of it up for your patriotic enjoyment.
This is “4th of July” as made famous by the band Soundgarden. Have a safe and memorable Independence Day.
